Ingredients
3 Green Bell Peppers (seeded; discard membrane and cut in stripes)
1/2LB Spaghetti
1 Clove Garlic
1 Small Yellow Onion (sliced)
1 - 1 1/2Cup BBQ Sauce Leftover
Seasonings
1 1/2 tsp Salt (divided)
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 1/2 tbsp Oil (divided)
1 Pot of Water
Bring 1 pot of water to a boil
Add 1tsp salt, 1tbsp oil and spaghetti
Quick stir and let it cook
Cut cooking time to 3/4
Preheat a big deep skillet at medium high heat
Add 1/2 tbsp oil, green peppers, onion, garlic, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper
Stir to combine and sautee for about 5 minutes
Add BBQ sauce and cook for another 2 minutes
Taste to adjust the flavor
Strain pasta and transfer to the green pepper and onion mixture
Toss to coat
Let it cook for about 3-5 minutes to let the spaghetti to absorb the sauce and serve
Serve 2 people
TIPS
With the spaghetti, the sauce must be stronger. Add sugar and papparika to adjust the flavor would be the best alternatives.
BBQ sauce leftover in the air tight container will be good in the fridge for at least 3 weeks.
