Thanksgiving Leftover 911

Every year, I heard a lot of people at work and family members complaining about having the Thanksgiving leftover throughout the whole week and still having tons and tons of them that there was no way for them to consume. So, the food ends up going into the garbage.

My husband and I don't host any festival meals at our house. We always go to one of the family members'. But we still receive some leftover which I created several recipes in the last few years. Here are some wonderful ideas that can help you to turn the leftover into delicious meals:

1) Spicy Turkey & Cranberry Sauce Pizza

2) Replace chicken with turkey or even ham and make Chicken Scampi Spaghetti

3) Use any mashed potato and sweet potato and make POTATO PANCAKE

4) Save all the bones and meat of the turkey, plus the leftover from the veggie platter to make (Anna’s) World’s Best Chicken Soup

5) What about Green Bean Casserole Pasta ?

6) How about something better than the Chinese Take-Out Turkey Gravy Fried-Rice, Ginger Chicken Rice or Stir-Fried Pork Roll & Cabbage Noodles ?

7) Shredded turkey meat and make Quesadillas. Just follow the steps in this recipe Spinach Quesadillas

8) Shredded ham and warm it up with your favorite BBQ sauce and serve in the rolls. That will be some delicious pull-pork sandwiches.

9) Also, save the shredded ham in several sandwich bags and store them into the freezer. Add some into your scramble eggs for breakfast. Follow the steps in this recipe EGGS WITH SHRIMPS

10) Use your food processor to help you grounding up the shredded turkey meat and make Turkey Sloppy Joe

11) Use the gravy in the egg benedict.

12) Cut the turkey or ham together with the leftover from the veggie platter to bite size. Toss it into a creamy salad dressing like the one from Creamy Cucumber & Corn Salad. Seperate the leaves from iceberg or romaine lettuce. Use the leaves as the salad bowl and serve.

With this plan, I can guarantee you that Thanksgiving leftover is no longer your headache and you will enjoy it a lot. HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!

Chocolate Dunker

My hubby and I were in a pizza shop and saw the picture of this dish. Once I saw it, I told myself, "Hey! This is easy. I can do it myself." When I served on a Thursday family dinner, it was a big hit. Hope you enjoy it, too.

Ingredients
1 Store-Bought Thin Crust Pizza Dough
1 Bag (12oz) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini-Morssels
1 Cup Chocolate Fudge Sauce

Preheat oven at 375-400F (per package instructions)
Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray
Roll out the dough on a baking sheet
Bake it for 9-13 minutes or until light golden brown

While waiting, heat up the fudge sauce in microwave oven with the lid off
Transfer sauce to serving bowl for dipping

Take pizza out of the oven
Sprinkle chocolate on top immediately and evenly while it is still hot
Let sit for 2 minutes and use a butterknife to smooth out the chocolate
Cut pizza in long stripes and serve along with the sauce

Serve 6-8 people
